is selling a beautiful 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS with a 454 built to LS6 specifications.
The engine is numbers correct and date coded correctly but is not numbers matching to the car.
It is a #512 4 bolt main block Cast in 1970, with #291 rectangular port heads, a #3569 winters foundry aluminum intake, a 780 cfm Holley carb, a #811 water pump with correct deep groove hi performance pulleys and an original #837 37 amp alternator.
The transmission is a 1965 M22 Rock crusher and transfers power to a 12 bolt posi rear end with 3:
31 gears.
This is a clean car with documented 45K miles.
It still has the original t3 headlights in it.
The car was built in Arlington Texas the third week of April 1970.
The previous owner took care of this car for thirty years and purchased it out of Wyoming.
The evidence suggests this was an original LS6 car but we do not have any documentation.
The car, over the years, was repainted in areas but the car is the original 19/19 tuxedo black with white stripes.
The paint shows some age but is definitely still show-able.
All the sheet metal is original to the car according to the previous owner.
The original pearl white interior was changed out in the 80's, to the the black that is currently in the car.
The underneath is clean and you can see the original red primer showing through in spots.
This is a very clean example of one of the greatest muscle cars of it's time.
